About Us

The Clifton Public Library serves the community of Clifton, New Jersey. The library has two buildings: the Main Library and the Allwood branch. We work with the PALS Plus consortium to serve the larger Passaic county community. Read more about the library's history here!

Meet the children's department!

Children's Librarian - Miss Gloria

Miss Gloria graduated as a librarian from the School of Librarianship, University of Uruguay. She managed a public library system and an agricultural research library network during her time there. After many years, many miles, and a love story, she landed at the Clifton Library. Today, Miss Gloria supervises the two Children's Rooms (Main and Allwood). When she is not at the library, she enjoys gardening, reading, and learning about new places during her free time.

Children's Librarian - Miss Juliana

Miss Juliana has worked at the Clifton Public Library since 2019. Patrons can see her at both the Main Library and Allwood Branch. She likes to read nonfiction books the most, and in her spare time she likes to play video games, sew, and paint! At the library, she works on programs with Miss Heather, and she makes promotional flyers for the Children's room website.

Children's Librarian - Miss Heather

Miss Heather has worked at the Clifton Public Library since 2012.  She primarily works at the Allwood Branch, but you can find her at both libraries.  In her free time, Miss Heather loves to read fantasy books and graphic novels, play role playing games, and dance.  At the library, she plans and runs programs and buys lots of new books for the collection.  She is always happy to help you discover a new book to love.
