Many of you are probably familiar with the animated movie, The Iron Giant, from 1999. However, did you know that this movie was based off of a children's story?
The Iron Giant, also known as The Iron Man, was originally published in 1968 by the author Ted Hughes. At the library, we have a copy of this story, which is a great read for independent readers ages 8-12, or can be read aloud to younger children in sections.
The library has many copies of books that were made into movies - check the books and DVDs out and have a combination family story/family movie night!
