This book includes a section about the history of ancient Norse culture as well, and the role mythology played within it. The author delves into individual stories within Norse mythology as well as pages to the separate gods and characters within this pantheon. This is a dense read, not recommended for younger readers due to instances of mythological violence and some frightening illustrations. However, kids who are ready to read this subject manner and who are fans of mythology will love this book.
Overall, I give this book 10/10 stars! Wonderfully illustrated and well told, this book is worth the read..
